Japan Niche Travel uses affiliate links. Some of the links here — to hotels, tours, experiences, eSIMs and the like — are special tracked links, and if you book or buy through one, I earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra: the price is exactly the same as going direct.

Here’s my rule, and I mean it: I only ever link to things I’d genuinely send a friend to. If a hotel, tour, or product isn’t good enough for someone I care about, it doesn’t go in an article — affiliate link or not. When I’m on the fence about something, I’ll tell you so, plainly, in the piece itself.
